Accountant/CPA

We are looking for an experienced public accountant to join our accounting firm, which is primarily tax-driven.
The individual will be responsible for preparation of tax returns, standard accounting workpapers, statements and other financial reports, reviewing tax returns and managing clients.
Previous public accounting experience (4+ years), along with a degree in Accounting and CPA qualification is required for this role.
Prior client management responsibility is a plus.

*Responsibilities* * Preparation and review of individual, corporate, partnership and fiduciary income tax returns along with payroll and sales tax returns * Communicating with clients on tax and administrative matters * Stay informed on industry developments and changes in regulations * Performs other duties as assigned *Skills* * Integrity, with an ability to handle confidential information * Proficiency with Microsoft Office and QuickBooks * Good time management and organizational skills * Excellent communication and analytical skills with an attention to detail * Ability to use reference materials in researching tax and accounting issues We are closed on major holidays, offer paid-time-off, a comprehensive benefit package and competitive pay and offer a flexible work schedule.

to 5:00 p.
m.
Monday through Friday during tax season and close at noon on Fridays outside of tax season.
Additional hours are required January through April 15.
