Painter

Entry level training role for paint group, which includes preparing tanks for painting.
Proper safety and use of chemicals is required.
*Key duties and responsibilities:* -Prepping use of chemicals -Prep surface to be painted -Follow and Implement requirements on Bill of Materials (BOM) -Knowledge and Use of power tools -Apply paint (cold tar) to bottom of tanks -Proper cleanup and disposal of hazardous materials -Other duties as assigned *Knowledge:* Knowledge of various paints that are used on production of tanks -Must be able to read and understand bill of materials -Must follow all safety policies and procedures -Experience Preferred.
*Physical Requirements:* Must be able to stand on your feet for 12 hours and lift up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to climb a ladder to paint on top of tank.
Must be able to be in small spaces for a long amount of time.
It is important to note this position starts at 6 a.
m.
Monday-Friday and every other Saturday from 6 am to 10 Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
