*Chemical Route Driver/ Warehouse Forklift Operator* Based in Hereford, TX, Miguel Dairy Service is one of the largest and most efficient distributors in the Dairy Supplier industry, routinely transporting acids, chlorine, iodine solutions that are detergents, sanitizers and dips to our customers.

We are actively seeking a dedicated and committed person to fill a single position as a *Chemical Route Driver/ Warehouse Forklift Operator for our Dalhart location*.
To perform the essential functions of this position successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies: * High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) * 2 years verifiable driving experience in the past 4 years or driving school training plus minimum of 1 year driving experience * Class A CDL with HAZMAT endorsement or ability to obtain immediately * Clean MVR (no moving violations) * Industry and related product knowledge, as well as experience and Basic Computer Knowledge * Good Customer Service Skills * When driving the employee is responsible for providing timely, accurate, and safe deliveries of Chemical Products.
The Driver provides excellent customer service by collaborating diligently and expeditiously with dispatchers and customers daily.
The driver must : * Inspect vehicle before and after use according to company maintenance checklist and DOT rules * Loading trucks, trailers and filling customer orders as assigned * Maintain DOT and MDS vehicle documents, ensuring they are properly completed * Work closely with customers to ensure MDS meets their expectations, listen to and report customer complaints, concerns or questions to Dispatcher * Ensure all safety rules are strictly observed * Assure the truck remains in proper and safe working order and that routine and required maintenance occurs on a timely basis * Comply with all Federal, State and local laws regulating safe driving and the safe and proper handling of hazardous materials * Immediately notify the Dispatcher of malfunctioning equipment or condition that needs immediate action and follow up with District Manager * Maintain appropriate driver's license with Hazmat endorsement * Route's range from 50 to 500 roundtrip miles with an average daily mileage radius of approximately 300 miles from the plant's location * Perform other duties as assigned While working in the warehouse the employee is expected to: * · Review documents (packing slip, manifest, etc.
) and receive product coming into the building by vendor, customers, or MDS affiliates * · Verify the quantity of product received by checking it in against the packing list or PO * · Collate and process product orders from MDS employees * · Communicate and coordinate with the proper vendors/buyers for any product that needs to be returned or repaired * · Ensure that product is properly packaged and ready to ship when returning product to vendor * Prepare any shipping document (BOL, RMA#) and ensure that package is properly identified and labeled.
* Prepare and maintain records of items shipped back to vendor warranty or repair * Communicate with MDS employees, vendors, clients, and management on all pricing changes and arrival dates for product/material/chemicals/returns * Oversee inventory in according to company guidelines * Perform inventory tasks to ensure correct number of items are in stock * Maintain updated and accurate records of inventory including transfers and cycle counts * Respond to sales inquiries and purchase orders from any MDS employee * Assist in other areas of the warehouse as needed * Keep area and facility clean and in working order including the outside parking area * Safely operate all the necessary equipment in the work area * Perform other duties as assigned to meet the business needs by management * Establish and maintain an effective working relationship with other MDS employees and management.
*Environment* This position is largely self-directed and requires understanding of company policy, procedures, and values.
Team members will be required to adhere to all safety requirements in all work environments.
While performing the duties of this position, the team member will be exposed to moving, mechanical parts, dusty conditions, high noise levels, internal and external temperature/weather conditions, and exposed to chemicals.
