Customers come to depend on Parallel Ag to get any job done and we are looking to add a highly motivated Sales Professional to our team! The Sales Professional will work to provide our customers with the equipment that they need to keep their operations going.
The Sales Professional will grow customer relations and support the work of other departments in the dealership.
Their purpose is to continue learning the business and gain the knowledge and experience necessary to work within the framework of the Parallel Ag business model.
Parallel Ag has an immediate opportunity available for a Sales Professional at our Dalhart, TX location.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
The responsibilities and duties of the Sales Professional will include the following: Essential Functions: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions Compile lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from ad inquiries, trade shows, direct mail responses, dealer resellers, business directories, and other sources Make outbound lead follow-up calls to potential and existing customers by telephone and e-mail to qualify leads and sell products and services Receive inbound sales lead calls to convert calls into sales Overcome objections of prospective customers Provide product demos to qualified customers as needed Emphasize sales features, quote prices and credit terms, and prepare sales orders for orders Estimate date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of set-up and delivery schedules Coordinate and/or perform customer training Build and maintain customer relationships Enter new customer data and other sales data for current customers into computer database Work with outside vendor sales representatives to keep account activities, literature, and training up to date Investigate and resolves customer problems Travel and attend trade shows as needed Qualifications: Strong oral and written communications Proven ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with co-workers, vendors and customers Ability to professionally manage difficult customer situations Must be able to work overtime Salesexperience in heavy equipment or agriculture preferred Ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds Positive attitude and desire to work as a team player Computer literate Dedication, self-motivation, energetic with strong work ethic Detail minded Good ability to communicate both orally and in writing Ability to work overtime, to include a Saturday rotation Be available for 24 hour on call rotations Commitments: Service Oriented - Our success revolves around customer service; we value service always as a priority.
