Occupational Health Nurse or EMT (Part-Time).
We are looking for a Part-Time Occupational Health Nurse or EMT to support our client, Seaboard Foods, in Guymon, OK.
This position is responsible for performing regulatory testing, injury/illness triage, assessment, treatment, and wellness education for employees in a clinic setting for Seaboard Food Operations and via telephone for Animal Operations within the scope of practice as directed by WorkCare and State Guidelines.
Nursing Responsibilities: Provides medical care to clinic patients as requested/needed, and within the RN scope of practice, following treatment care guidelines set forth by the occupational health director.
Communicate and update Occupational Health Nurse Manager and client’s Work Comp Director on all work-related injuries/illnesses.
Assist in managing, coordinating, documentation of Workers Comp claims & communicating with Client’s Work Comp Director, assisting with Injury & Illness management.
Input and update all work-related injuries/illnesses in CCMSI's ICE data system.
Maintain Electronic Medical Record (EMR- Cority) and ensures complete & accurate documentation.
Communicate with Client's Human Resources department and Work Comp Director to keep them well-informed of employees with work restrictions, work related absences, etc.
Performs regulatory testing including but not limited to: Respiratory medical evaluation, spirometry, audiometry, vision tests, urine test, immunizations, heat stress.
Conduct drug and alcohol testing in accordance with the client's substance abuse policy.
May perform First Aid, CPR, AED, and other training as necessary.
Provides preventive health education to employees as needed within scope of practice.
Maintains clinic utilization reports.
Participates in general flow of clinic operations (answers phones, checks email, medical records, scheduling, filing, copying charts, traffic control).
Maintain clinic’s medical & office supplies in collaboration with ancillary staff.
Maintains communication with the Clinic Medical Director, Regional Account Manager, & client as necessary.
Ensures that employees have appropriate return-to-work clearances.
Other duties as assigned or those duties that may be required as management deems necessary.

Provide emergency response according to client requirements Provide onsite first-aid treatment Participate in ergonomic team activities Participate in the emergency response team activities, drills, and training Inventories supplies in the designated space (clinic) Schedule and perform all medical surveillance exams to ensure compliance including, but not limited to, hearing, vision, respiratory fit testing, skin, confined space and Power Industrial Vehicles Provide drug and alcohol testing when requested Provide education to employees as needed within scope of practice Assist and maintain proper chart documentation and required logs Provide wellness coaching and non-occupational care, appropriate to scope of practice Participating in general flow of clinic operations (answer phones, polite, professional greeting, checks mail, medical records, filing, copying charts, faxing, etc) Perform additional duties and assume additional responsibilities as identified by manager for the efficient operation of WorkCare.

Nursing Education and Experience: Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a valid State RN license Bachelor of Science in Nursing is highly preferred Must hold current BLS certification 3–5 years RN experience required 2-3 years’ experience in an urgent care, emergency department or occupational health setting preferred Certification in Occupational Health preferred EMT Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED equivalent Must be certified with active EMT-Basic or EMT-Advanced license in the state of Oklahoma Must have BLS/CPR for Healthcare Provider with AED Prefer 1+ years experience as EMT-Basic or EMT-Advanced Must have a valid US Driver's license and must remain valid for duration of employment Final compensation offered will be determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience and qualifications.
