Dental Hygienist

Job Overview: The job may require some travel to our location in Kinsley as well as our Dodge City Location.
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our team.
As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a vital role in providing quality dental care to our patients.
Your primary responsibility will be to perform dental cleanings and assist the dentist in various procedures.
Duties: - Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and debridement - Take and develop dental x-rays - Conduct oral cancer screenings - Administer local anesthesia as needed - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized oral health recommendations - Assist the dentist during procedures by handing them instruments and materials - Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using Patterson Fuse software system - Adhere to strict infection control protocols and maintain aseptic technique throughout all procedures - Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality Requirements: - Valid state dental hygiene license - Associate's degree in Dental Hygiene (Bachelor's degree preferred) - Knowledge of pediatric dentistry is a plus - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask Join our team of dedicated professionals and make a difference in the lives of our patients.
