The CNA provides direct and indirect nursing care under the direction of a RN and in accordance with policies and procedures.

What You Bring/Job Requirements: In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following: Six months previous CNA experience preferred.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English Basic computer skills Previous customer service experience preferred High School diploma or GED required within one year of hire Graduate of a Nursing Assistant Program preferred State registered CNA license required BLS from the American Heart Association required Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) Training preferred.
CPI training required if sitting with M-1 holds Physical Requirements - Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly) Schedule: PRN (Variable) Your Connected Community: When people and places align, incredible things happen.

The Medical Unit at Bob Wilson Memorial Hospital is a 26-bed unit with an average census of eight to ten patients and one swing bed department incorporated to med/surg that is skilled nursing.
The department covers general medical, surgery, all post-op, generalized pneumonia, flu, wound care (on skilled nursing side) and physical therapy.
The clinical nursing program is new and offers a different/slower pace of training where a new nurse can acclimate and have time to learn our department better.
We seek candidates that are flexible and willing to cross train to accommodate labor and delivery if needed.
