Responsibilities: - Provide direct patient care in a variety of healthcare settings, including hospitals, primary care clinics, and occupational health centers.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, including vital signs and symptoms.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Assist with diagnostic evaluations and procedures.
- Educate patients and their families on healthcare topics, including discharge planning and self-care techniques.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Experience: - Must have a valid license as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
- Experience working in a hospital or primary care setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with electronic medical record systems, such as Athenahealth, is a plus.
- Experience in occupational health or working with people with developmental disabilities is desirable.
- Knowledge of infant care and critical care nursing is beneficial.
