*Position Overview:*
We are looking for an *experienced Diesel Technician *with at least *3 years of experience*.
This position not only allows you to utilize your experience and expertise to diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy-duty diesel equipment but to also serve as a mentor to junior technicians.
We have positions available to accommodate many schedules as well as ones aimed at better serving our valued customers.
We offer *paid training* to not only keep you current with all aspects of the job but also to foster growth in both you and your experience.
*Key Responsibilities:*
- Expertly diagnose and solve complex issues in diesel equipment.
- Mentor junior technicians, sharing expertise.
- Obtain specialized certifications to enhance service capabilities.
- Stay updated on industry technologies and trends.
- Perform thorough inspections to assess unit condition.
- Document service and repairs accurately.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations.
- Collaborate with team to prioritize tasks and deliver excellent customer service.
- Execute engine overhauls and complex repairs.
- Read schematics to troubleshoot electrical and air system issues.
*Skills and Qualifications:*
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in heavy-duty truck repair or similar field, preferred.
- High School diploma or equivalent (GED) required; technical school certification preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency with power tools.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Customer service-oriented mindset with a focus on quality and efficiency.
- Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record; CDL preferred.
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.
*Additional Information:*
This position requires working in, under, and around trucks and trailers, necessitating the ability to lift, push, or pull objects of various weights.
Safety footwear, uniforms, ear, and eye protection are provided.
