This is a Full Time Position.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Promote MCHD standards and values through providing direct patient care in the ER department.
Communicate with physicians, nurses and other staff about patient’s clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies, and symptomatology.
Ability to respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient’s condition.
Additionally, is cross-trained to perform general nursing duties in other departments.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Six months nursing experience in a hospital setting preferred.
LICENSURE / CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Current Texas RN license or RN Compact licensure and current CPR certification required.
ALCS Certification required or must be obtained within first year of employment.
Departmental requirements are as follows:
ED - TNCC, ENPC or PALS required or obtained within first year.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Knowledge of accreditation process required.
