Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team.
As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing quality patient care and ensuring the well-being of our patients.
This position requires strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties:
- Perform comprehensive assessments of patients' health status
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patients' needs
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any significant changes to the healthcare team
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment plans, and preventive measures
- Document all patient interactions, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain aseptic technique during procedures
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families throughout their healthcare journey
Requirements:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kansas
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Minimum of [5] years of nursing experience in a clinical setting
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, laboratory systems, and healthcare procedures
- Experience in hospice palliative medicine, memory care, or occupational health is a plus
- Proficient in phlebotomy and administering injections
- Ability to use electronic medical record (EMR) systems effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
