We are looking for a dedicated professional like you to be a part of our Radiology team as a PRN Radiologic Technologist.

HCHD Radiology Department provides a broad range of services to aid in the screening, diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions and emergent injuries.
A few responsibilities of Radiologic Technologist include:
Operate x-ray equipment to make radiographs of designated portions of the body.
• Under supervision, your role performs x-ray, CT, and ultrasound imaging on patients, assess patients throughout, and responds to the patient’s needs as appropriate.
• Your role will serve patients in the emergency department, hospital, and outpatient settings who are in need of services.
• Make a positive difference in the lives of patients every day
• You will perform procedures in accordance with established protocols for patients ages neonate through geriatric.
• Your role will be responsible for maintaining expert technical and patient-care skills and providing quality diagnostic results.
Experience/Education/Licensure/Certifications:
Current registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
• Current Texas License or Certified as a Medical Radiologic Technologist
• Current Basic Life Support (BCLS) verification course, as specified in policy
• Graduated from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology
• Prefer one year of experience in an Imaging Department
• CT Experience required
• Ultrasound experience is strongly preferred but not required.
Must maintain all licensure/certifications and BLS certification as a condition of employment.
Minimum Experience, Abilities Required and Special Requirements:
Previous experience in Direct Patient Care in a hospital setting.
Expertise in utilizing radiological equipment and software.
Outstanding diagnostic and communication abilities.
Keen focus on detail.
Capability to work independently and collaboratively within a healthcare team.
