""Duties""
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for children in the childcare center
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Supervise and monitor children's activities to ensure their safety at all times
- Assist with mealtime routines, including feeding and cleaning up after children
- Change diapers and assist with potty training as needed
- Collaborate with other daycare staff to maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
- Communicate with parents regarding their child's progress, behavior, and any concerns that may arise
- Follow all licensing regulations and maintain accurate records of attendance, incidents, and medications
```Skills```
- Special education experience is a plus, but not required
- Classroom management skills to effectively engage and educate young children
- Knowledge of early childhood curriculum and childhood development principles
- Previous experience in childcare or toddler care settings is preferred
- Strong caregiving skills, including patience, empathy, and the ability to handle challenging behaviors
- First aid and CPR certifications are desirable but can be obtained upon hiring
- Genuine passion for working with children and helping them learn and grow
